Marquin Decker, M.S., LPC is a dedicated, warm and empathic counselor providing a safe place for all clients. She focuses on the mind-body connection and conceptualizes each client from a holistic and strength-based perspective. Marquin practices trauma-informed therapy for teens and adults, as well as play therapy for children ages 3-10. She has a great deal of experience working with those in crisis, who may be suffering from suicidal ideation, self-harm, family of origin concerns, trauma, and life transitions. She is skilled in working with clients struggling with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders and life transitions. Marquin utilizes a variety of treatment modalities depending on the individual needs of each client. She is proficient in Adlerian Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She is passionate about teen’s and women’s emotional health and incorporating nature and expressive arts into the therapy process. Marquin is also experienced in equine and small animal assisted therapy. She is dedicated to meeting her clients and their families where they are to make therapy a collaborative and healing journey.
