DBT Skills Group with Mindful Movement
Wednesdays 9:15am to 10:15am
This is an open group held every Wednesday at 9:15am, beginning April 5th. The first half of each group session will be dedicated to learning Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills. DBT is a treatment modality focused on teaching clients how to modulate their emotional responses, improve coping skills and develop more meaningful and healthy relationships. Research indicates that DBT skills help relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety and trauma. The second half of the class will include a gentle, trauma-informed yoga sequence and will conclude with a short guided meditation or mindfulness practice. The yoga sequence will focus on awareness, alignment, and breath to help release tension and relax the nervous system. We will focus on stretching and strengthening the body while creating space for stillness.
Pricing: $60 per session
