Billie Watson, MS, LPC is a warm and engaging therapist focused on providing highly effective research-backed treatments to her clients.  She creates a safe and accepting environment and honors her clients with respect, honesty, and compassion.  She always meets others where they are in life and allows counseling to move at the client’s pace.  She tailors treatment to meet the unique needs and strengths of each individual in her office.

Billie is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and is also professionally trained in Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT).  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services from Stephen F. Austin University and a Master of Science in Clinical Health Counseling from Texas A&M University at Commerce.

Billie believes that life has a way of throwing people into uncomfortable or unwanted seasons, acknowledging that we all face times of grief, anxiety, depression, uncertainty, or just deep emotional overwhelm.  Billie is present to support clients through those moments, helping them gently face what is real and to move through emotions instead of burying them.

Billie works with both adults and adolescents.  She specializes in treating many disorders and symptoms including trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, life transitions, anger issues, Bipolar Disorder, stress and emotional dysregulation.  She utilizes effective modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotional Transformation Therapy, and mindfulness practices.

Billie’s approach to therapy is grounded in emotional honesty and self-compassion. She believes that healing begins not when we push our feelings away, but when we learn to sit with them, understand them, and move through them.  Billie wants each client to know that they do not have to navigate difficult times or emotions alone. She feels truly honored to walk alongside clients as they move toward greater clarity, emotional resilience, and self-acceptance.
