Jessica Langham, MA, LPC strives to provide a warm and accepting environment for all clients. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and has experience working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is highly skilled in treating individuals, couples, and families and is pursuing the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International.
Jessica specializes in treatment for depression, anxiety, addictions, anger management, relationship issues, parenting difficulties, life transitions as well as providing informed, evidence-based care to individuals and families across the reproductive journey. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) among other modalities. Jessica develops individualized treatment plans for each client with consideration for the individual’s strengths, background, beliefs and culture.
Jessica has received specialized training to work with pregnant women, new mothers, new fathers, and partners, as well as individuals navigating infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, and the full spectrum of postpartum concerns. She provides support from preconception planning through pregnancy and into the first year postpartum. She is trained to assess and treat perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), including postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, birth trauma, adjustment challenges, and difficulties related to identity shifts, role transitions, and relationship strain.
Jessica’s other passion in the counseling field is relationships. She believes that relationships are the foundation of life. She recognizes that we all have relationships not only with others, but with ourselves, our higher power, and the world around us. Jessica’s goal is to help clients identify relationships that require healing, set appropriate treatment goals, and assist clients in bringing wholeness to their lives.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and sons. They love family hikes and camping. She believes that time in nature is an amazing way to connect with ourselves, loved ones, and our higher power. She loves connecting with friends through church, Bible studies, and hosting social gatherings. When practicing self-care, Jessica enjoys reading, sewing, singing, and puzzles.
